A tip I picked up at the demo at Complete Garage last weekend;
If you've got a carbon fiber hood/hatch (or whatever) and you're having problems with oxidation and haziness that you can't get rid of with conventional products, you can slap some peanut butter on and leave it over night to restore your part. I was told that the resin used for C/F parts dries out over time and the oils in the PB will be sucked into the resin and restore it's original gloss.
I wanna try it out as my hood doesn't look like it did two years ago, but I just don't know what the best way to apply the PB would be (butter knife?) and I'm sure that the clean up would be a nightmare.
Anybody heard of this before?
