Suede? Nah..

Now that I've got a better understanding of the process of (re) wrapping pillars and headliners in suede, I've decided it's way too much trouble for something that's fairly subtle. Suede is difficult to work with and can be quite spendy, so I'm considering going another route. When you look at cotton and vinyl your options for color (and more importantly, pattern) are much wider. Also, a cotton material will strech more and therefore be easier to apply to compound curve sufaces.

What are you folks' thoughts on something a little wilder than suede?

Interesting. I think I like the plaid and animal prints best! Perhaps a plaid zebra look?

Of course, there is a microfiber that has a pattern that looks like worn leather. I have it on a love-seat. Unless you actually feel it, you'd swear it was leather.

I'm currently lusting over a black carbon fiber vinyl, it's way pricey though.

I like the skull pattern. The stock seats in my 08 tc have a weird, plastic feel to them, a change could be fun.

Only you, Greg, would think that burlap was awesome! I guess instead of sitting on them, you'd pull them up around your waist (a.k.a. potatoe sack racing). You should put it in your Cobra! That'll dress it up real nice.
