Draw-Tite Invisi-Hitch?
I would like to be able to tow our Hobie Cat and similar light utility trailers, and it seems that the best/cheapest hitch for our 05 xB is the Draw-Tite Invisi-Hitch. This unit is light-duty (class 1), uses a "vertical" 1-1/4" drawbar, and when the draw bar is removed, the hitch would be completely invisible. The competing Curt hitch seems to be a lot lower -- which might be a problem with ground clearance and tongue height, and would have the "shin-banger" feature. Thoughts?

The invisi hitch looks great -- invisible when the drawbar is removed. Seems to work just fine. Did have to unscrew (then re-attach afterward) the brackets for the bumper to install it, and I would like longer 10mm frame-attaching bolts, which did not come with the hitch. Did not need to drop the muffler, as requested in the install instructions. All in all a good setup.
