Mobil-1 versus Amsoil

We just bought our 05 xB, with 65K miles, and love it. Seems like synthetic motor oil is a good choice. Amsoil claims a longer drain period between changes than Mobil-1, so the extra cost would be offset by fewer changes. Do any owners have experience with either oil? Thoughts...

It doesn't matter what oil you use... it's in your best interest to change it every 5k miles.
I'm using Mobil-1 in mine.
